How Succession Planning and Mentoring Shaped the Next Generation at Nett Front

When we first started working with Nett Front, the company was already a force — 18 years of growth, excellence, and constant innovation.

The founder, Mr. Bartha, had built something extraordinary: one of Romania’s leading furniture front manufacturers, loved by clients and respected by partners.

It was a company with tradition, systems, and success — preparing to celebrate its 18th anniversary surrounded by employees, suppliers, and friends.

And yet, beneath all that maturity, one quiet but important question began to surface:

“What happens next?”

The Family Behind the Brand

At the time, both of Mr. Bartha’s daughters were already deeply involved in the company.

Tünde, serving as HR Director and Assistant to the President, and Beatrix, leading the Marketing Department, had each carved out a role within the family business.

Both talented. Both creative. Both raised in an environment where design, craftsmanship, and family values were intertwined.

And yet — very different in temperament and professional style.

Tünde, structured and determined, had a natural ability to bring order and empathy together.

Beatrix, artistic and visionary, saw beauty and possibility everywhere she looked.

Together, they represented the heart and future of Nett Front — if that future could be shaped intentionally.

Asking the Hard Question: What About Succession?

Like many Romanian family businesses, succession wasn’t at the top of the to-do list.

There was always another project, another client, another deadline.

But as trust grew between us and the family, the conversation naturally turned to the future.

How could we ensure that this company — born from passion and perseverance — would live to see not only a second generation of leadership, but perhaps even a third?

Because somewhere between strategy sessions, product meetings, and laughter over coffee, we’d already met the next generation — Szófia, Tünde’s daughter, then still in kindergarten, and Samson, on the way.

Legacy had a face.

The Succession Plan: A Path, Not a Title

Through a series of discussions, assessments, and mentoring sessions, we worked together to design a succession roadmap — one that respected both the company’s needs and the personalities of the two sisters.

Our recommendation was clear and natural:

  • Tünde would begin her CEO track, preparing step by step to take the leadership role.

  • Beatrix would transition into a Creative Director role, where her artistic vision and innovative energy could flourish.

This wasn’t about hierarchy — it was about alignment.

Each of them stepping into the role that fit their strengths and character.

Mentoring the Next Generation

Succession isn’t a moment. It’s a process.

And ours was hands-on, emotional, and deeply human.

Béla worked closely with both sisters on finance, systems, and process management, helping them understand the mechanics behind sustainable growth.

I worked with them on communication, marketing, and leadership development — guiding them as they built confidence and found their voices as leaders.

We didn’t just advise; we walked alongside them.

We laughed. We debated. We got excited. We cried sometimes, too.

Because when you work with a family, emotions are part of the process.

From Advisors to Partners

Today, both women are thriving in their roles.

Tünde has grown into a remarkable next-generation leader — visionary yet grounded, unafraid to roll up her sleeves and lead from the front.

Beatrix has become my creative partner in REFRONT, the innovation incubator we built together, and is now leading the upcoming Nett Front Academy project.

And behind them, Mr. Bartha continues to inspire — the founder who built not just a company, but a legacy that keeps evolving.

What We’ve Learned Along the Way

This project reminded us why we do what we do.

Succession planning and family mentoring aren’t about control — they’re about continuity.

They require patience, honesty, and above all, love for both the people and the business.

At Nett Front, that love is everywhere: in the way they support their employees, nurture their community, and invest in the next generation — one conversation at a time.

We are proud to serve this family.

Every single member — from founders to future leaders — embodies the integrity, passion, and care that remind us why family businesses truly are the backbone of society.
