From Market Leader to Market Disruptor
How Nett Front Is Redefining an Industry
Turning innovation into action—how together, we built a new brand and unlocked a new market.

The Challenge: What’s Next For a Market Leader?
When you’ve been in the industry for 18 years, and you’re already a market leader, you could just sit back and enjoy the ride. But that’s not how great businesses think. The real question is: What’s next?
For Nett Front, one of Romania’s top furniture front manufacturers, the answer was clear—innovation and diversification. They had the experience, the production capacity, and a reputation for quality. But they wanted more than just another incremental improvement; they wanted to reinvent the game.
Enter REFRONT—a fresh business line offering customizable, high-quality IKEA-compatible fronts. It was a bold move in a competitive market, but with the right execution, it had the potential to reshape their business
From Chocolate & Strategy to A Scalable Business
This wasn’t a eureka moment in the shower—it was the result of structured thinking, deep market insight, and some very good chocolate.
For two months, we worked side by side with the top management team through the Growth Engine program. There were brainstorming sessions, intense discussions, and a fair share of "what if we did this?" moments—all fuelled by caffeine and the finest sweets we could get our hands on.
By the end, we didn’t just have ideas—we had a list of 15+ high-impact projects designed to propel Nett Front into its next growth phase.
REFRONT stood out.
It was the perfect blend of:
- New revenue stream – A smart way to expand without disrupting the core business.
- Leveraging existing expertise – Why start from scratch when you already have world-class production?
- A fresh market approach – Giving customers the freedom to personalize their furniture with Nett Front’s craftsmanship.
It wasn’t just a nice idea on paper—it had real scalability. Now, we had to make it happen.
Turning An Idea Into A Thriving Business
Building a brand from scratch isn’t just about launching a product. It’s about creating an ecosystem where production, marketing, sales, and logistics work seamlessly.
So, in just nine months, here’s what we did:
✔ Built the Right Team – Bringing together problem-solvers who could turn strategy into execution.
✔ Defined a Clear Product Offer – Curating 13 premium collections of IKEA-compatible fronts with modern designs and high-quality materials.
✔ Established a Strong Digital Presence – Creating an intuitive e-commerce platform with a 360° product viewer so customers could visualize every detail.
✔ Developed a Mobile Showroom Strategy – Instead of waiting for customers to find us, we brought the showroom to them. We launched at Deco Days Cluj-Napoca, then positioned the showroom right next to IKEA Bucharest—a strategic move that put the brand in front of the perfect audience.
✔ Executed Targeted Marketing & PR – Partnering with Facebook & Google Ads experts, PR agencies, and social media specialists to rapidly build brand awareness.
✔ Forged Strong Designer Partnerships – Interior designers became key growth drivers, so we launched an affiliate program that gave them real incentives to recommend REFRONT.
✔ Tested the Market in Real Time – Every event, corporate workshop, and showroom interaction was an opportunity to fine-tune the strategy based on real customer feedback.
Lessons From The Journey
No business transformation is smooth sailing. But what we learned along the way is what truly mattered:
- People make the difference – A great idea is nothing without the right team to bring it to life.
- Listen to the market – Customers will tell you what they need—if you know how to listen.
- Execution beats theory – The best strategy in the world means nothing if it doesn’t translate into real action. Quickly.
The Future: A Brand Built For Long-Term Success
REFRONT isn’t a one-off project—it’s a long-term strategic move for Nett Front to expand into the B2C market.
For any business looking to launch a new brand, enter a new market, or take an idea from concept to execution, REFRONT proves that success isn’t just about having a vision—it’s about doing the right things, in the right order, and making them happen.
And maybe, just maybe, some great chocolate along the way doesn’t hurt either.
Final Thought
Innovation doesn’t come from guesswork—it comes from structured creativity, smart execution, and a willingness to evolve. If you’re ready to take your business to the next level, let’s make it happen—step by step, with strategy, and yes… maybe a little chocolate.
The Challenge: When Standing Still Isn’t An Option
After 25 years in business, 18 stores across 16 cities, and a solid €8 million turnover, Nobila Casa was a household name in tableware, decorations, and gifts. But success in a competitive market isn’t about where you’ve been—it’s about where you’re headed next.
Their CEO felt the stagnation creeping in. Sales were steady, the team was strong, but there was a sense that they had hit a plateau. The question wasn’t “Are we doing well?”—it was “How do we push beyond this?”
That’s when we rolled up our sleeves and got to work with Growth Engine.
From Ideas to Execution: The Growth Engine Experience
From day one, I knew this was going to be an exciting ride. The Nobila Casa team was incredible—curious, energetic, ready to challenge themselves. And the headquarters? Let’s just say it’s the kind of place that sparks creativity the moment you step inside.
We started with a flood of ideas—so many, in fact, that we had to channel all that energy into projects that actually moved the needle. Unlike many teams that get stuck in strategy mode, this team jumped straight into execution.
Every month, I visited them, and every time, I dove right into the deep end with them. No two days were the same:
✔ Redefining KPIs for the retail network – What gets measured, gets improved. We designed new performance indicators that gave real insights into store performance.
✔ Optimizing profitability per square meter – Every inch of store space needed to earn its keep, and we worked on making it more profitable.
✔ Sipping coffee while tweaking store designs – Because sometimes, the right ambiance is just as important as the right pricing.
✔ Coaching the sales team – Sharpening their skills, refining techniques, and ensuring every customer interaction counted.
✔ Digging into data & social media strategies – Numbers tell a story, and we learned to read them better. Plus, we brainstormed how to make their social media work harder for them.
✔ Building smarter management processes – Growth isn’t just about sales; it’s about how well you run the business behind the scenes.
Every visit felt like a new adventure—but the best part? I was working with people I genuinely liked.
The Big Idea: Concept Store Evolution
By the end of the year, I found myself back in the CEO’s office, sipping coffee, throwing ideas around, and asking:
"So, what’s next?"
Not just the next step, but the next big move.
That’s when the Concept Store idea was born—a fresh, premium approach to retail that would redefine what Nobila Casa could be.
Within weeks, we were diving into financial models, analysing customer behaviour, and booking flights to Frankfurt for supplier negotiations. What started as a conversation turned into a full-scale expansion plan.
The Joy of Working with a Business That’s Ready to Grow
Some projects are work. Others are pure joy. Nobila Casa was the latter.
This is a family-owned business that knows how to balance tradition with ambition. They don’t just run stores—they build experiences. They don’t just sell products—they create moments.
And most importantly, when it’s time to turn up the speed, they don’t hesitate. They go all in.
So, what’s next for Nobila Casa? If history has taught me anything, it’s this—whatever it is, it’s going to be big.
Final Thought
Retail isn’t easy. Competition is fierce, and the market shifts constantly. But when you have the right team, the right mindset, and the courage to ask what’s next—you don’t just survive, you lead.
And I can’t wait to see where Nobila Casa leads next.

How Secoplan Engineered Its Own Growth
From a small industrial company to a rising international player—Secoplan Industries proved that smart strategy and bold execution create real growth. This is the story of discipline, innovation, and a family building a business their daughters will be proud of.
From a Small Business to a Global Player—One Smart Decision at a Time
When I first met the owner of Secoplan Industries, she was sitting in one of my workshops, taking notes with laser-sharp focus. Some people attend workshops out of curiosity—she was there with a mission.
Disciplined, sharp, and always thinking two steps ahead, she surprised me from the start. While most businesses of their size were chasing quick wins, Secoplan was thinking long-term. Their first priority? ERP implementation. Yes, a €200,000 industrial electrical company investing in enterprise-level efficiency—not something you see every day.
Step One: A Smarter, Faster ERP Implementation
ERP projects can drag on, but Secoplan wasn’t about to waste time. We executed quickly, keeping one critical goal in mind—giving them full control of their system without becoming dependent on it.
Most companies rely on ERPs to fix their inefficiencies. Secoplan? They wanted a system that amplified their strengths. And they got it.
Once the ERP was in place, the real work began.
Step Two: Business Model Crafting & A Bold Go-To-Market Strategy
With operations running smoothly, we shifted focus to growth. That meant:
✔ Refining the business model – Optimizing revenue streams and pricing strategies.
✔ Aggressive go-to-market engineering – Identifying new markets, sharpening positioning, and defining a scalable expansion plan.
✔ Developing negotiation strategies – Preparing the team for high-stakes deals.
This wasn’t about just growing—it was about engineering a future where Secoplan played in the big leagues.
Step Three: The Leap from Small Business to Industry Competitor
Fast forward three years, and this once small industrial electrical company is now:
- Approaching €2.5 million in yearly turnover
- Handling international projects
- Negotiating with multinational corporations
- Setting new standards for professionalism and discipline in their field
Their transformation isn’t just impressive—it’s a masterclass in strategic growth.
And the Best Part?
Their success isn’t just about numbers. It’s about what they’re building for the future.
Behind every business decision, there are three adorable little girls watching their parents prove, day after day, that smart decisions, discipline, and bold moves pay off.
They’re not just running a company. They’re showing their daughters what true entrepreneurship looks like.
And honestly? That might be the best success story of all.
Final Thought
Growth isn’t about luck. It’s about precision, discipline, and knowing when to go all in. Secoplan’s story proves that with the right strategy and the courage to execute, a small business can become a serious industry player.
And they’re just getting started.
How Do You Take Innovation to the Next Level? You Build an Academy.
It all started in Tünde’s office—the Strategic Director, future CEO, and a force of nature when it comes to pushing boundaries. After a year filled with change, growth, and bold projects, we sat down, coffee in hand, and asked the big question:
"What’s next?"
The Growth Engine program had already shown us the immense need for structured sales management and go-to-market strategies. If a €15 million company like Nett Front needed it, so did their partners, small businesses, and designers navigating the industry.
We had two challenges:
- How do we rapidly scale this knowledge across the entire network?
- How do we create something that lasts?
And just like that, the Academy was born.
A Playground for Creativity & Business Growth
The Nett Front Innovation Academy isn’t just another design program. It’s a launchpad for designers, architects, and furniture enthusiasts who want to master go-to-market engineering and turn ideas into sellable, scalable products.
We knew that knowledge alone wasn’t enough. Designers don’t just want to learn—they want real opportunities to showcase their talent. So, we built a program that delivers both:
✔ A DIY online Growth Engine program – Packed with structured content, resources, and guided exercises.
✔ Live sessions with top experts – Seven specialists (including me) offering real-world strategies, not just theory.
✔ A career-changing competition – Every participant gets the chance to design their own collection, with the winner launching it on www.refront.ro and earning the majority of sales for a year.
For designers, this is not just a learning experience—it’s a national-level launchpad.
From Vision to Reality: How We Built the Academy
With the vision clear, execution came next. And that’s where things got exciting:
✔ Content Creation & Expert-Led Learning – We the Growth Engine Online Programme and turned it into a six live sessions Master Class designed especially for this audience.
✔ National Campaign & Outreach – We wanted 75+ designers to join the first edition, so we launched a nationwide campaign targeting architects, interior designers, and creative entrepreneurs.
✔ The Ultimate Designer Challenge – Participants don’t just learn—they compete. The best collections will be voted on, showcased at a live event, and sold across the country. We built a step by step competition that is fair and scalable.
✔ A Future-Proof Business Model – Beyond education, the Academy is set to become a profit-generating center, ensuring it thrives for decades.
The Ad That Started It All
I knew exactly how the ad should feel. It had to be bold, exciting, and inspiring—not just another “enroll now” campaign, but an invitation to the adventure of a lifetime.
So, for the first time ever, I wrote an ad script. And with an incredible production team, we brought it to life. It wasn’t just about promoting the Academy—it was about creating a movement. And both me and Tunde, we moved out of our comfort zones and stepped in front of the camera. Adventure for us too.
Where We Go From Here
With a program like this, the real work is just beginning. Now, we’re focused on:
- Refining and expanding the program – More resources, deeper learning, bigger impact.
- Building a lasting Academy – One that stands the test of time and becomes a go-to hub for industry talent.
- Having fun along the way – Because when you work with partners like these, every day feels like an adventure.
Nett Front isn’t just shaping furniture design. They’re shaping the future of the industry. And the Innovation Academy? It’s just the beginning.
