Nett Front Innovation Academy

The Launchpad for Every Designer

How do you take innovation to the next level?

You build an Academy.

It started, as good ideas often do, over coffee — in Tünde’s office.

She’s Nett Front’s Strategic Director, future CEO, and the kind of person who doesn’t believe in limits.

After a year of change, growth, and bold experiments with REFRONT, we found ourselves asking the same question again:

“What’s next?”

The Growth Hacking work we’d done had revealed something bigger than expected: even large, successful companies struggle to build structured go-to-market systems.

If Nett Front — a €15 million market leader — needed this kind of structure, imagine how much their partners, small businesses, and designers could benefit from it too.

So we had two challenges:

  • How do we scale this knowledge fast across the entire network?

  • And how do we create something that lasts?

That’s how the Nett Front Innovation Academy was born.

A Playground for Creativity & Business Growth

The Academy isn’t another design workshop.

It’s a launchpad for designers, architects, and creative entrepreneurs who want to master go-to-market strategy — and actually bring their ideas to life.

We knew that theory wouldn’t be enough. Designers don’t just want to learn; they want to do, to see their work in the world.

So we built a program that delivers both:

✔ A DIY online Growth Hacking course — with clear frameworks and guided exercises.

✔ Live sessions with top experts — seven specialists (including me) sharing what really works, not just what sounds good.

✔ A career-changing competition — every participant designs their own collection, and the winner launches it on www.refront.ro, earning the majority of sales for a year.

For designers, it’s more than education. It’s a national-level launchpad for their careers.

From Vision to Reality: How We Built the Academy

Once the concept was clear, execution became the main act — and that’s where Fractional Management again made the difference.

I didn’t just advise. I built it, step by step:

  • Developed the content — turning the Growth Hacking framework into a six-session live Master Class for designers.

  • Planned the national campaign — targeting architects, interior designers, and creative entrepreneurs to bring 75+ participants to the first edition.

  • Created “The Designer Challenge” — a fair, scalable competition structure where each submission was judged transparently.

  • Produced the ad — from writing the script to stepping in front of the camera with Tünde. It wasn’t just a promotion; it was the start of a movement.

  • Shaped the communication strategy — ad copy, press releases, and all website content.

  • Brought in the jury and guest speakers — ensuring diversity in expertise and perspective.

  • Designed the presentation at Deco Days — Romania’s biggest interior design show, featuring 20 prototypes from the most talented participants.

And yes — as part of the jury, I can confirm it was really hard to pick the winner.

That’s why I created a separate evaluation list for each juror — to keep the process fair and focused.

By the end of the show, one thing was clear: the Academy had become more than a project — it was an ecosystem.

What Fractional Management Can Bring to the Table

This project showed again what Fractional Management truly means.

It’s not about being in the office full-time — it’s about bringing high-level leadership, creativity, and execution power exactly when it’s needed most.

In this case, that meant:

  • Proposing the idea

  • Building the business model

  • Producing the ad

  • Creating the marketing action plan

  • Writing and refining every communication piece

  • Coordinating the launch and the exhibition itself

Fractional leaders don’t just fill a gap — they create acceleration.

Where We Go from Here

With the Innovation Academy running, the real work is just beginning:

We’re expanding the program, deepening the learning, and preparing for new editions that will shape the next generation of design entrepreneurs.

And after two years of collaboration built on trust and shared vision, our work with Nett Front has evolved beyond business systems.

Now, we’ve begun supporting the family behind the business — through

Mentoring Family Members and Next-Generation Clarity Sessions.

Because when a company grows this fast, the family that leads it needs just as much structure and guidance as the business itself.

Nett Front isn’t just shaping the future of furniture design.

They’re shaping how family businesses innovate — from the factory floor to the next generation’s table.

And the Innovation Academy?

It’s just the beginning.
